probably one of the most wanted courses in np.
which is ironic considering how small and government controlled the media is in singapore.
if you have any friends going to that course, expect this, your friends will be more arrogant as time goes by.
i don’t what is it but all the people i know who went there became more arrogant.
they acted as though they were the cream of the crop in np and that everyone was dying to get into mcm.
mass communications course, cream of the crop? nah.
some of the chicks from mcm, cream of the crop? hell yeah.
wow. i have to say, where the hell do you get off judging an entire course worth of people based on the, what, two people that you know? talk about judgmental.
if you’ve been to any other open house, you’d get the fed the same bullshit that the fms ambassadors give all the secondary school students. that’s what open houses are *for*. unlike most other places, though? mcm students actually enjoy their 3 years in np, and not just for the hot chicks.

Are you a Yr 1 or 2 student in mass comm? cos you say “mcm students actually enjoy their 3 years in np, and not just for the hot chicks”. I’ve spent my 3 yrs in mass comm and i should tell you that not all of it was enjoyable (nor were there that many hot chicks) . In fact, after the end of the course, i felt like it’s pretty similar to alot of other courses. Every other course has it’s politics and backstabbers. But of course, none of them have the finesse and creativity like we do.
By the way, you blasting off your mouth at someone before you even know what he/she is like, just because he/she expressed an OPINION? Who’s the judgmental one?
Look, i’m not saying i wasn’t pissed when i read that article, i was. But why’m i not saying anything? Cos i know mass comm hasn’t made me more arrogant, so that article is irrelevant to me. In fact, i got backstabbed and manipulated so many times in mass comm that i’m pretty inclined to believe the author of the article is pretty close to the truth about mass commers.

Err, if you’ve got nothing to say, i would advise you to keep your mouth shut. Honestly, communication, communicationSSSS, no one can tell (or bother to tell) the difference anymore. It’s just “mass comm” to everyone, even mass commers. So yeah, you’re embarrassing us here.
